Former chief scientist of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Earle is president of Deep Search International and is the advisory council chair for the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies. Earle has authored many books about the ocean, including “Sea Change: A Message of the Oceans” and the recent, “Ocean: An Illustrated Atlas,” with Linda K. Glover.
