France A. Córdova, Ph.D., is president of the Science Philanthropy Alliance, a community of funders who collaborate to inspire philanthropists to dedicate financial support to basic science. Dr. Córdova is an American astrophysicist and was the youngest person and first woman to serve as NASA’s chief scientist.
