Pat Mitchell

Pat Mitchell is the current president and CEO of The Paley Center for Media and the former president and CEO of Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). Mitchell began her career working as a former teacher and college instructor. Following teaching, she immersed herself into the media industry where she worked for broadcast networks, several cable channels, and achieved success as a reporter, news anchor, talk show host, White House and special correspondent, producer and executive. Mitchell also established her own independent production company. Her documentaries have received Emmy Awards, Peabody Awards and Academy Award nominations.
